The Fallen is a 16x24 charcoal and graphite drawing, accented with gold leaf, depicting my character, Baliye Excelsior, during his fall from Heaven. After committing such a grave sin as murder and ascending to Heaven using a hijacked soul, Baliye is quickly betrayed and expelled from the holy place, resulting in his Luciferian fall. This moment is a pivotal catalyst in a book series I’ve been conceptualizing for years now and would like to write and illustrate in full one day.
